Power Armband

Heh. Just kind of what I was imagining this to be when I made it. THis was part of anassignment for my Metalworking class that I'm taking. We were supposed to make something relating to the human body out of a 6x6 inch piece of metal. The catch? We couldn't do any additions, and we couldn't cut any pieces away from it, either. So, this is all bent out of one piece. I meant to just have an armband.... it wasn't until I got throught the first (paper) mock-up that I noticed it looked a little like a human figure. But I liked that, so I kept it.

Made out of copper, partially work-hardened. Sulfur patina used, with resist in decorative areas.
